2024 Langkar/Salenger Challenge at Warrawee

Mar 27 - 5 Teams of triples from Killara played at Warrawee Bowling Club. Warrawee won 3 of the 5 matches and the big board 102-82 to retain Original Large Langkar painting. The best performing Warrawee team was Allan Ramsay, Ken Potter and Len Hyde. For Killara, it was Ian Webster, Ray Date and Tony Gale. The best performing team from each club were awarded a bottle of Johnnie Walker Scoth Whisky each.

This was the 101 event that was held of our annual challenge between the clubs starting from 1974.

    2023 July 19: Bruce Nichols and Ken Li beat Lewis Price and Len Hyde in the final.

    Tony Fabro retains his Club Singles Championship in 2023. This is his 4th title in 5 years and has now won a total of five Singles championship. Peter Crawley is the runner-up for the first time.

  • Club Triples

    2023 July 29 - Greg Tuckwell, Steve Ogden and Tony Fabro beat Lindy Russell, Bruce Nichols and David Russell in the final.

The Warrawee Grade 7 Team managed to win 1 point against Zone 10-NBC Sports and Zone 12 St Johns Park respectively from their 3 matches in Section 2.
