2025 Langkar/Salenger Challenge at Warrawee (HOME)

26 Mar 2025 -6 Teams of triples from Killara played at Warrawee Bowling Club. Warrawee won the big board 143-96 to retain Original Large Langkar painting again. The best performing Warrawee team was Nelson Tan, Ken Li and Malcolm Kirby. For Killara, it was Ian Armstrong, Ian Webster, and Rod Henriks. The best performing team from each club were awarded a bottle of Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky each.

2024 Langkar/Salenger Challenge at Killara (AWAY)

23 Oct 2024- 6 Teams of triples from Warrawee played against Killara at Killara Bowling Club. Warrawee won 5 of the 6 matches and on the big board to again retain Original Larger Langkar painting. The best performing Warrawee team this time was Jim Fergusson, Bruce Nicholls and David Russell. For Killara, it was Clem Just, Geoff Little and Graham South. The best performing team from each club were awarded a bottle of Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky each.

This was an annual challenge between the clubs (home and away) starting from 1974.
